More than a tradition
Founded in 1897 by Joseph Pechous (pictured at the far right; ca. 1907), Pechous Upholstering Company started in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska on the second floor of a furniture store. After Joseph, Pechous has been owned by Les Pechous, Lila Pechous, Ray Egger, Paul Synhorst, and since December 2018, Doshie Rodgers.
Pechous has always prided itself on its staff and their old world craftsmanship. Every piece of furniture is carefully restored or constructed with pride.
Pechous has upholstered everything from antique parlor furniture from the 1700's to motorized reclining furniture of today. We have constructed cushions and upholstered store fixtures for some of the most renowned national retail stores across America. Locally, we pride ourselves on working with doctors’ offices, banks, restaurants, historical societies and everything in between.
